Good barbeque 👍Had 1/4pd brisket, couple chicken wings, and 1/4pd ribs the ribs where amazing!!!From DC and there is pretty good barbeque in the city. This was also pretty good!

Hands down the BEST BBQ in Glynn County. Gary's ribs are the finest I've ever eaten. If you even think you might like pork ribs, you owe it to yourself to visit Gary Lees. You'll hate yourself for putting it off once you've tasted the magic that Gary puts on all of his meats. Oh, and you can get a fat prime rib cut to order while you're there to take home and cook as well. The physical structure is not fancy, but the food renders the ambiance irrelevant. Do you get what I'm trying to convey yet? This food is not good, it's great.

Only a quick bite but the place has the look and feel of a local favorite.

Some of the finest smoked meat in the area. Sausage, brisket and ribs are perfectly smoked, didn't even need sauce. I can't believe it took us this long to stop and try this place. The new must go to place for our Brunswick trips.

I've been going in that store for 42 years that's a long time. I need not to say no more. The whole family will give you the shirt off the back.. some of the finest Meats that you ever buy some of the best barbecue that you ever put in your mouth. Some of the best conversations that you ever have when you walk in that store. Lot of memories in that store all good.

Best BBQ around. I live near St Augustine, FL and I drive 1.5 hrs for Gary Lee's Brisket. I have not found place in a 75 mile radius that comes close to the flavor, moisture, or tenderness. Texas is the only other place that makes brisket this good. Gary Lee's pork ribs, pulled pork, and burgers are amazing as well.

Gary Lee's Market, where all the tea is sweet...well not really but no one cares about unsweet tea. Ribs and baked beans were great, loved the atmosphere! Will definitely be back

I was actually lost and pulled into the parking lot to turn around. I saw how packed it was and decided to go in and check it out. Oh dear lord, that was the only time in my life I was glad I got lost. This is absolutely, hands down the best BBQ and Food I’ve ever had. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.. I actually always stop in now when I’m on I/95 heading back to South Carolina for lunch and buy a whole lot extra for dinners in the week.

The employees were so friendly and helpful. The pre cooked ribs and chicken wings were delicious. Additionally purchased some steaks which were were also delicious.

I'm miserable

Holy mother of God this place is amazing. I was just passing through town and hoping to find a mom-and-pop barbecue place and I struck gold. Its the kind of barbecue joint people rave about and you think, "whats the big deal?" Until you go there, and experience slow smoked meat bliss fpr yourself. I got the immaculate brisket along with a $6 cheeseburger with a patty the size of a softball. Easily a 1/2 lb of ground beef on a $6 homemade burger (?!?!?) Cant beat that folks.

Without a doubt, the best barbecue in the Golden Isles. And yes, I'm including Southern Soul. The brisket is to die for and their sides are just as good. Also, they charge less than $1 per wing, and that's hard to beat.

Really great BBQ brisket, chicken, ribs and wings. The beans were tasty as well. Sadly, only a cold Coke, not beer to wash it down.

I've eaten BBQ from all over, Kansas City to south Florida and Jacksonville to Texas and this place rates in the top 3 I have ever had. Brisket sandwich was the bomb! Friendly and clean, don't travel down I-95 without stopping here!

First time here and had to park in the grass and now I understand why. Dont pass this one up. This is bbq at its southern best. I will be back every week from now on. Definitely try the brisket sandwich and the chicken.

Gary Lee's Market BBQ is the best in the area. I was recommended by my friend to try it out.... Was I glad I was able to eat here. The food is phenomenal and worth the wait. Every time I am in this area, I make sure to stop here and grab extra to take home. Awesome BBQ and awesome staff!!!

Amazing BBQ.

This is a snack stop for me when traveling I-95 I get the $3.95 half chicken which comes with two pieces of bread and their special barbecue sauce. The southern way to eat that is to dip the bread in the barbecue sauce and eat the chicken with your fingers or a fork. They have ribs,giant cheese burgers, beef brisket, pulled pork, chicken wings and I think pork chops and a few different vegetables including baked beans and coleslaw. This place is real southern hospitality and food try it you will like it.Edit: Prices up 15%, owner says it was needed to cover employee insurance (medical?).

First time. We had Cheese Burger and 12 wings ( BBQ and Buffalo), Coleslaw and BBQ beansBurger was under seasoned like not seasoned at all, BBQ chicken wings were excellent buffalo not the best. Coleslaw is ok and beans was excellent.

I've been to Gary Lee's several times before and I'm never disappointed, and if you are lucky you'll pull up and see several state patrols eating, which makes Gary Lee's one of the safest places in the state.

Looking forward to a return trip. They have a lot of positive reviews for a reason.

Do let the outside look fool you. Back in the day this was the neighborhood grocery store. But now you can get some of the best BBQ in state. I like the ribs and pulled pork. My friends say the brisket is the best. Gary also serves chicken, pork chops, sausage, hamburgers, wings and today they had steaks. Everything is good. A family operation with a very kind staff.

Trust the stars! This place is amazing. We had 2 pulled pork sandwiches, beef brisket sandwich, cheeseburger, dozen wings, coleslaw, potato salad, 2 deserts, and 4 drinks for $50. For a family of 6 that’s great and we all left stuffed! Friendly staff! We will be back whenever in Georgia!

The best BBQ food in Brunswick and the surrounding area. Always fresh and hot and delicious. We got wings and pork chops today. Last weekend we got wings and hamburgers to take to our son's house who lives in Merritt Island FL. After eating wings our grandson who is 9 asked his mother if they could open a Gary Lee's near them! I that he really liked them.
